Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No Shows

Cancellations have a negative impact on our business. Because of this, we require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancelling with less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge of 50% of your service. Last minute rescheduling without a valid reason will also result in a 50% service charge. A missed apointment with no notice (no call, no show) will result in a charge of 100% of your service. Cancelling or missing several appointments will result in being banned from making appointments. Judgement Free Zone

Salon Taboo welcomes guests from all walks of life. We do our best to be welcoming and accommodating to everyone who walks through our door. The only thing we do not tolerate is hate. If you cannot share the room with people of races, belief systems, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, then we ask that you book a private appointment (surcharges apply) or find a salon that is more aligned to your lifestyle. Gender and Age Neutral Pricing

At Salon Taboo, we believe it's what's on your head that matters, not what's in your pants. We're also terrible at guessing ages so we don't discount for kids or seniors. Our prices are based on length of hair, time needed, and product used.

Covid-19 Policies

For the forseeable future, we will be implementing new policies to adhere to Covid-19 guidelines and keep our staff, guests, and community safe. -All guests must wear a mask while inside the salon. Your mask should attach to your face or at your ears so it does not interfere with your service. -Hand sanitizer will be provided at the door. Please sanitize before entering the salon. -Please limit the belongings that you bring into the salon. A sanitized win will be provided for your items. We ask that all your items be able to fit in the bin. (bin dimensions - 12"x12"x15") -To limit possible exposure, please do not bring anyone with you to your service. An exception will be made for family members who will be also be recieving services the same day. We will only have one service provider in the salon per day so you do not have to be exposed to others during your service. -We have temporarily suspended our online booking feature. This allows us to space out our appointments so we can clean and air out the salon between guests. To request an appointment, click the request appintment link and fill out the form. We will contact you as soon as possible. Times may be delayed as we transition back from quarantine. We thank you for your patience. -We will no longer be providing refreshments including snacks and drinks. Please come prepared. We do have a refridgerator that you may use during your appointment. -We will no longer have cash on hand. You may still pay with cash but we will not be able to provide change. Please bring exact payment. -We ask that you do not enter the salon if you have tested positive for Covid-19, if you are awaiting Covid-19 test results, if you have been in contact with someone who has Covid-19, or if you are showing symptoms of Covid-19, such as an elevated temperature. -We look forward to a time where we no longer need to take such precautions, but for now this is the new normal for us.
